Change A Life Uganda is a nonprofit, nondenominational 501c3 tax exempt organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned and disadvantaged children and their families through quality education and healthcare. They support educational sponsorships, income generating activities for families and medical treatment to enable the children and their families to live, learn, work and improve their futures. Change a Life currently helps children and their families in Nabbingo and Migyera Uganda.  In April 2011, The Rotary Club of West Orange adopted Change A Life Uganda as it's new International Service project donating $2500 in order to help them drill a new well for the school children and their families.   Right now, the children of the school have to travel miles to collect dirty, contaminated water in jerry cans and haul them back to the school and boil the water before drinking or washing their hands.  It is the hope of the West Orange Rotary club that our donation along with the donations of others will help to provide clean, fresh water to the children of Migyera so that they can learn and thrive in health without fear of life-threatening diarrhea and infectious disease.

Through the Quarters for Water program the West Orange Rotary Club will continue their support to help raise money to complete the well project for Change A Life Uganda.
